What is TRON Exchange?+
TRON Exchange (tron-exchange.xyz) is a decentralized exchange built natively on the TRON blockchain. It allows users to swap any TRC20 token pair, provide liquidity to earn fees, and stake TRX for network resource rewards — all without registration, KYC or a central custodian. Prices are fetched live from CoinGecko API for transparent, real-time rate display.
How do I connect my wallet to TRON Exchange?+
Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the header or inside any trading widget. TRON Exchange detects TronLink (browser extension or mobile), Trust Wallet, TokenPocket, imToken and any WalletConnect-compatible TRON wallet. On desktop, TronLink Chrome extension is recommended. On mobile, open tron-exchange.xyz inside TronLink mobile's built-in browser for one-tap biometric transaction approval. No modal login window or email registration is ever shown — the wallet connects directly via the TRON DApp API.
What wallets are supported?+
TRON Exchange supports TronLink (primary recommendation — browser extension and mobile app), Trust Wallet, TokenPocket, imToken, Klever Wallet, SafePal and any WalletConnect-enabled wallet with TRON chain support. Hardware wallets such as Ledger are supported when paired with TronLink. All wallet connections are direct and non-custodial — TRON Exchange never stores your keys or has access to your funds outside of an approved transaction.
What is the current TRX price?+
TRON Exchange displays the live TRX/USD price fetched directly from CoinGecko's public API (api.coingecko.com). The price visible in the header pill, swap widget, price section and ticker tape is refreshed every 60 seconds automatically. CoinGecko aggregates data from hundreds of exchanges to provide a manipulation-resistant consensus price. For on-chain swap execution, the actual rate is determined by the TRON DEX pool's real-time liquidity — the CoinGecko price is for reference display only.
How fast are transactions on TRON Exchange?+
TRON produces a new block every 3 seconds and achieves single-block finality — meaning your swap or deposit is confirmed in approximately 3 seconds from the moment you submit it. There is no mempool congestion or gas auction on TRON because its Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus guarantees consistent block production regardless of network load. This makes TRON Exchange one of the fastest DEX experiences available, significantly faster than Ethereum mainnet and comparable to or faster than most Ethereum Layer 2 networks.
What are the trading fees?+
TRON Exchange charges a protocol swap fee starting at 0.1% for standard pairs and 0.01% for stablecoin pairs (USDT/USDC). TRON network gas costs are typically under $0.01 per transaction — the cheapest DEX environment available for frequent traders. All fees are shown transparently before you confirm any transaction. There are no withdrawal fees, no minimum trade requirements and no hidden charges. The protocol fee is distributed between liquidity providers and the protocol treasury according to governance parameters.
What TRC20 tokens can I trade?+
TRON Exchange supports over 2,000 TRC20 tokens including all major assets: TRX, USDT TRC20, USDC TRC20, JST, BTT, WIN, SUN, USDJ, APENFT (NFT), WBTC TRC20, ETH TRC20, TUSD TRC20 and many more. Any TRC20 token with existing liquidity on a TRON DEX pool can be traded. You can also add custom TRC20 tokens by pasting the contract address into the token selector — always verify the contract address on TRONSCAN before trading unlisted tokens.
Do I need KYC to use TRON Exchange?+
No. TRON Exchange is completely permissionless. You never need to create an account, provide an email address, submit identity documents or complete any KYC or AML verification. All you need is a TRON-compatible wallet containing TRX and/or TRC20 tokens. The protocol's smart contracts execute on-chain without any personal data collection. TRON Exchange has no authority to block, freeze or censor any wallet or transaction.
What is TRON bandwidth and energy, and do I need them?+
TRON uses two network resource types instead of a single gas fee: Bandwidth (for basic transaction data) and Energy (for smart contract execution). A typical TRON Exchange swap consumes 60,000–130,000 Energy units. If you have insufficient Energy in your wallet, the protocol burns TRX as a fallback — usually costing under $0.05. The most efficient strategy is to stake (freeze) at least 1,000 TRX to TRON to receive free daily Energy and Bandwidth, making your TRON Exchange transactions effectively free on an ongoing basis. More staked TRX = more free daily resources.
What is slippage and how should I set it?+
Slippage tolerance is the maximum acceptable difference between your quoted swap price and the actual executed price. TRON's 3-second finality minimizes slippage risk compared to slower blockchains. For stablecoin pairs (USDT/USDC): use 0.1%. For major liquid pairs (USDT/TRX, TRX/JST): use 0.5%. For volatile or lower-liquidity tokens: use 1.0%+. The "Auto" setting analyzes real-time pool depth and volatility to choose optimal slippage dynamically. Setting slippage too low causes transaction failures; too high means you accept a worse rate than expected.
Is TRON Exchange safe and non-custodial?+
TRON Exchange is fully non-custodial — your tokens remain in your wallet until the exact moment a transaction executes atomically on-chain. No third party ever holds your funds. Smart contracts have been audited by independent security firms, and full audit reports are available in the documentation. An active bug bounty program incentivizes responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities. All protocol upgrades require governance approval with a time-lock delay, preventing unilateral changes by any single entity.
How does TRON Exchange find the best swap rate?+
TRON Exchange's routing engine simultaneously queries all major TRON DEX liquidity pools — including SunSwap, JustSwap, and integrated third-party pools — and evaluates thousands of possible swap paths. It calculates the expected output for each path net of price impact and protocol fees, then selects the best combination. For large trades, it automatically splits your order across multiple pools to minimize market impact. Quotes refresh every 10 seconds to ensure accuracy, and the live CoinGecko price is shown alongside the on-chain quote for transparency.
How does liquidity provision work on TRON Exchange?+
Liquidity providers (LPs) deposit two TRC20 tokens in equal value into a pool (e.g., TRX + USDT). In return they receive LP tokens representing their proportional share of the pool. Every swap through that pool charges a fee (0.1%–0.3% depending on pair type), which accrues to all LPs proportionally. You can withdraw your liquidity at any time by redeeming LP tokens. TRON Exchange also supports concentrated liquidity positions, allowing LPs to specify a price range to maximize capital efficiency and fee earnings on active ranges.
What is impermanent loss and does it affect TRON Exchange LPs?+
Impermanent loss affects all AMM-based liquidity pools, including TRON Exchange pools. It occurs when the price ratio between your deposited tokens changes from the ratio at deposit time — the greater the divergence, the larger the potential loss compared to simply holding. For stablecoin pairs (USDT/USDC) IL is near-zero. For volatile pairs (TRX/USDT), IL risk exists when TRX price moves significantly. TRON Exchange provides LP yield calculators showing estimated net returns after IL and fee earnings. Concentrated liquidity positions can amplify both IL and fee income depending on price movements.
How does TRX staking work on TRON Exchange?+
TRX staking (freezing) on TRON Exchange locks your TRX for a chosen period to receive TRON network resources: Energy (for smart contract execution) and Bandwidth (for transaction data). These resources are used to cover your own transaction costs, making frequent trading effectively free. Beyond resource benefits, TRX staking also grants TRON Power for voting on Super Representatives — TRON's block producers. Frozen TRX can be unfrozen after the lock period, with principal returned fully. TRON Exchange's staking dashboard shows your staked balance, accrued resources and estimated daily resource generation.
Can I add a custom TRC20 token?+
Yes. If a token is not in TRON Exchange's default token list, paste its TRC20 contract address (starting with 'T') into the token search field. TRON Exchange fetches the token name, symbol and decimal precision directly from the TRON blockchain. A warning is always displayed for unlisted tokens reminding you to verify the contract address independently on TRONSCAN (tronscan.org) before trading. Malicious tokens designed to look like legitimate ones are a common scam — always verify the contract address from an official project source before trading any unlisted token.
What is MEV protection on TRON Exchange?+
MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) bots monitor public mempool transactions and insert themselves before your swap to extract value — buying the token you want to buy at a lower price, then selling it to you at a higher price (sandwich attack). TRON Exchange routes transactions through private relay infrastructure that bypasses the public mempool, preventing bots from detecting and front-running your trades. This ensures your quoted price is the price you receive. MEV protection is enabled by default for all swaps at no extra cost.
Can I use TRON Exchange on mobile?+
Yes. TRON Exchange is fully optimized for mobile devices. Open tron-exchange.xyz inside the TronLink mobile app's built-in DApp browser on iOS or Android for the best experience — your wallet connects automatically and transactions are approved with biometric authentication. Trust Wallet's DApp browser also works. The full swap, pool and staking interfaces are available on mobile with identical functionality to desktop, adapted for touch screens from 320px wide.
What is TRON DPoS consensus and how does it benefit traders?+
TRON uses Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) with 27 elected Super Representatives producing blocks every 3 seconds. Unlike Proof-of-Work, DPoS requires no mining competition — block production is scheduled and predictable. For TRON Exchange traders, this means: (1) no gas wars or fee spikes during high network demand, (2) consistent sub-3-second confirmation times regardless of market activity, (3) throughput of 2,000 transactions per second — meaning TRON Exchange never becomes congested even at peak trading volume, unlike Ethereum which can suffer severe delays and cost spikes.
Why does TRON have the highest USDT volume in the world?+
TRON processes more USDT (Tether) volume than any other blockchain — including Ethereum — because of its combination of ultra-low fees (under $0.01 vs $1–$20 on Ethereum), near-instant settlement (3 seconds vs 12+ seconds), and high throughput. Tether originally launched on TRON specifically for high-volume, low-cost transfers. As a result, TRON has become the preferred blockchain for institutional and retail stablecoin movement globally, which drives enormous liquidity on TRON Exchange's USDT pairs and creates favorable trading conditions for all TRX/USDT swappers.
How do I view my transaction history?+
After connecting your wallet, your TRON Exchange activity — swaps, LP deposits and withdrawals, staking actions — appears in the account dashboard. All transactions are also permanently on-chain and viewable by anyone on TRONSCAN (tronscan.org) by searching your wallet address. TRON's public blockchain records every transaction in full detail: amounts, tokens, timestamps and smart contract interactions. Your data cannot be altered, deleted or hidden by TRON Exchange or any other party — the blockchain record is the permanent source of truth.
How does TRON Exchange compare to Ethereum DEXes?+
Compared to Ethereum-based DEXes: Transaction cost — TRON Exchange under $0.01 vs Ethereum $2–$50 gas. Speed — 3 seconds vs 12+ seconds. Throughput — 2,000 TPS vs ~15 TPS (Ethereum mainnet). Congestion — TRON never congests; Ethereum can see 10x fee spikes during demand peaks. Stablecoin liquidity — TRON has world-leading USDT and USDC liquidity. DeFi breadth — Ethereum has more protocol variety overall. For users who primarily trade stablecoins or major TRON-native tokens and want the lowest possible cost with fastest speed, TRON Exchange consistently outperforms Ethereum-based alternatives.
What is USDJ and can I swap it on TRON Exchange?+
USDJ is TRON's native decentralized stablecoin — a TRC20 token soft-pegged to the US Dollar, generated by locking TRX as collateral in the JUST protocol (similar to MakerDAO's DAI on Ethereum). Yes, USDJ is fully supported on TRON Exchange and tradeable against USDT, USDC, TRX and other TRC20 tokens. USDJ is backed by on-chain TRX collateral and has no central issuer, making it a fully decentralized stablecoin option for TRON DeFi users. You can also swap USDJ pairs with near-zero slippage on TRON Exchange's stablecoin pools.
What are TRON Super Representatives?+
TRON has 27 elected Super Representatives (SRs) who produce blocks under its DPoS consensus. TRX holders vote for SRs using TRON Power (earned by staking TRX). SRs earn TRX block rewards and share a portion back to their voters as dividends. When you stake TRX on TRON Exchange, you can vote for an SR and receive a share of their block production rewards in addition to the free Energy and Bandwidth resources. This creates a dual benefit for TRX stakers: network resource cost reduction plus potential dividend income from SR voting.
Does TRON Exchange have a referral program?+
TRON Exchange operates a permissionless on-chain referral system. Your referral link is generated from your connected TRON wallet address — no sign-up required. When users you refer swap on TRON Exchange, you earn a percentage of the protocol fee paid directly to your wallet in TRX or USDT TRC20. Referred users receive a discount on their first swap. All referral earnings are tracked and paid automatically on-chain. High-volume referrers and community builders can apply for the TRON Exchange Partner program for enhanced rates and joint marketing initiatives.
What happens if a swap fails on TRON Exchange?+
If a swap transaction fails (most commonly due to slippage tolerance being exceeded or insufficient Energy), your tokens are fully returned to your wallet — no funds are lost. Failed transactions on TRON still consume some Bandwidth (for the transaction data) but do not consume Energy, making failure less costly than on Ethereum where failed transactions still charge full gas. If your swap consistently fails, try increasing the slippage tolerance, reducing the trade size, or ensuring you have sufficient Energy by staking more TRX. The TRON Exchange interface clearly explains the failure reason after each failed transaction.
Are TRON Exchange smart contracts open source?+
Yes. TRON Exchange's smart contracts are open source, published on GitHub and verified on TRONSCAN. This means anyone can read, audit and independently verify the exact code running on-chain. Open source smart contracts allow the community and security researchers to spot potential vulnerabilities and build compatible integrations. The verified contracts on TRONSCAN let you confirm that the code deployed on TRON matches the published source code exactly, eliminating the risk of undisclosed backdoors.
What is the maximum trade size on TRON Exchange?+
There is no maximum trade size enforced by TRON Exchange's protocol. You can swap any amount technically limited only by available pool liquidity and your wallet balance. For very large trades (over $500,000 in a single transaction), the routing engine automatically splits your order across multiple pools to minimize price impact. On major TRON Exchange pairs like USDT/TRX, multi-million dollar trades can execute with under 0.5% total price impact. The UI shows estimated price impact for your specific trade size before you confirm, allowing you to make an informed decision.
What is the difference between TRX and TRC20 tokens?+
TRX is TRON's native coin — the primary asset of the TRON blockchain used for network fees, staking and governance voting. TRC20 tokens are smart-contract-based tokens built on the TRON network (analogous to ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum). Examples include USDT TRC20, JST, BTT and WIN. On TRON Exchange, you can swap both native TRX and any TRC20 token. When swapping TRX, it is automatically wrapped to WTRX for pool interactions then unwrapped on delivery — this happens invisibly to the user.
Where can I get help or report issues?+
For community support, join TRON Exchange's official Telegram and Discord (links in the footer). Technical documentation and protocol guides are at docs.tron-exchange.xyz. Security vulnerabilities should be submitted through the bug bounty program in the documentation for responsible disclosure. For general TRON blockchain questions, the TRON community at t.me/tronnetworkEN is also a great resource. TRON Exchange will never send you unsolicited direct messages, ask for your seed phrase, or ask you to send tokens to a "verification" wallet — any such messages are scams.
